Holidays are for Family | Hannah & Alex 2019
Hannah and Alex were my last couple of 2019, and they truly showed everyone the spirit of the holidays and family togetherness. Their ceremony took place right between Christmas and New Years, who could ask for a better way to spend the weekend?! They were also one of my few Oak Park couples, which you all know by now, is my soft spot. I love people that adore Oak Park as much as I do… and they truly do.
The ladies got ready at Hannah’s childhood home in neighboring Forest Park, while the gentleman prepared for the day at a lovely local hotel called The Carleton. Hair was perfected by Magnificent Brides, while makeup was done by one of the bridesmaids.
They even did their First Look right in her front yard. *Love*
The bridal party took to the streets in Oak Park, sharing in some of their favorite locations from meeting and dating.
Love locks… it’s an Oak Park thing!!
Even though Hannah and Alex only hired the Studio for set up and ceremony, we got to spend the most important parts of the day with our couple. From cookie deliveries in the morning to lighting candles at their church, our Studio took pride in pulling this gorgeous day off without a single hitch.
Hannah and Alex’s ceremony took place inside the stunning Holy Apostles Greek Orthodox Church. Every inch of this room was beautifully crafted and cared for. We loved sharing in their traditional Greek ceremony.
Afterwards, everyone headed to the Oak Park Country Club for apps, dinner, and dancing.
So truly thankful to have such wonderful couples to spend my holiday weekends with! What a perfect day of love, laughter, and knot tying.
