Amanda and Matt celebrated their wedding day on a perfectly sunny afternoon in mid December. It was the weekend before Christmas, and the entire city was buzzing with lights, shoppers, and sweethearts. The day could not have been more perfect to celebrate such a sweet union.

Early morning festivities started at the Drake hotel where both bridal parties gathered for hair and makeup. Blush and Burgundy pulled together some gorgeous updos while Kate Johnson highlighted all the right places for the day.

The gentlemen enjoyed a quiet suite listening to the Rolling Stones.

Once everyone was fluffed and ready to go, the couple took a few moments to do outdoor photos at some of their favorite locations downtown. Then the entire party proceeded to Salvatore’s in Lincoln Park. Those two ladies at Salvatore’s know how to run and tight ship!

A blissfully heartfelt ceremony was quickly followed by seasonal cocktails and music. Family stayed back to take photos in the beautiful foyer.

Stunning centerpieces were handcrafted by the talented Mrs. Kate of The Flower Girl Company. The dining room glittered with candle light as speeches were shared and thank you’s said by the couple.

The remainder of the evening was a blur of music and dancing.
