Garden Party for Kerry & Juan | Garfield Park Conservatory
Kerry and Juan’s earliest dates were shared among the different rooms of the Garfield Park Conservatory, so what better place for them to tie the knot on a misty June afternoon?
Planning a wedding in the middle of a worldwide pandemic comes with its fair share of struggles, but Kerry and Juan held it together and rolled with the punches. They made planning tweaks along the way to make sure their event was a safe as humanly possible, but without sparing any opportunities to have the best day ever!
The day started off a little cloudy at the local Ping Tom Memorial Park with gorgeous views of the skyline and fantastically bright murals. They then joined their family and friends for an intimate ceremony in the Horticulture Hall. The entire ceremony was done in both English and Spanish so everyone could savor every word of the ceremony.
As soon as the final words were spoken, a mariachi band sprang into action and lead the newly wed couple to the Bluestone Terrace for more music, apps, and drinks.
Right as the sprinkles began to fall again, everyone came back to the Hall to see the room transformed from grand ceremony space to a romantic candle lit dinner.
Speeches had the entire room in tears! And a few special dances were had before we kicked off a full night of dancing and revelry. No one wanted to leave when it was time to go!
Congratulations again, Kerry and Juan! Truly hope our paths cross in the future as you build your lovely lives together. Thank you for having us a part of your special day!
