BW met Kevin years ago, in a past life through architecture and design. When he tracked us down to help plan his wedding… there was NO way we could say no to him and his fiancé. Anyone that can match Kevin throw for throw is bound to be a friend of ours. Sure enough, Jamie was simply wonderful and these two make this job look easy!

As a wedding planner in the Chicago suburbs, I get to see a lot of beautiful churches and temples. Jamie and Kevin’s ceremony was held at his childhood parish where he went to school as a boy. And you could feel it as you walked around and everyone greeted them with open arms. The swooping ceilings and beautiful textures were enough to quiet any heart in need of a little light and grace.

We were so lucky to have a gorgeous spring (who are we kidding, it’s Chicagoland, it skipped straight to summer - but we aren’t picky around here) afternoon with tons of sunshine. Not to mention a picture perfect sunset down the river.

Their wedding party were swept from location to location via a bright white trolley! And the room was simply packed with tables as friends and family from all over the country joined in their celebration.

Colors were a soft pink and fluffy white that beautifully contrasted the Brix’s soft brick tones. Tons of greenery made the room smell like eucalyptus all night long. A simple bright white cake from (everyone’s favorite) Sweet Mandy B’s was topped with an elegant gold topper.
