Nothing I love more in the world, than a Brewery Wedding. When two people chose to marry each other somewhere they love to spend their time and relax, you know it’s going to be a good time!

Alaina and Sean were easily the most relaxed couple I’ve probably ever worked with… they easily switched from one activity to the next without so much as a bead of sweat on their brows. And they looked stunning on this misty day in June 2019.

Alaina’s troupe of ladies got ready at a charming salon across the street, Spa Bleu, and then met upstairs at the brewery for makeup with Ryann Lomas in their sun filled conference room. The gentlemen were fortunate enough to catch some rounds of basketball before the ceremony, but looked dapper in their custom socks. Kashya Photography captured every moment beautifully and tactfully in spite of the inconsistent weather.

Emmett’s Brewery has a lovely private dining room on their second floor, overlooking the quiet downtown main street of West Dundee. Alaina and her maids put together an impressive amount of centerpieces the night before and our team used the remaining greenery to fill up every other surface that wasn’t moving.

The couple chose to include delicious details like home made desserts and pies for the guest favors and their own signature cocktails.

Thankfully, the mist parted for a few hours right before the ceremony so we could dash outside and take advantage of the beautiful ivy growing on the side of the brewery.

The evening quickly turned into a full on dance fest as party goers made their personal recommendations to the ever-talented Music By Design. They provided entertainment and lighting for the reception.
