When a bombshell like Cassie and a man with a beard as gorgeous as Mike’s plan to get married, you know it’s going to be a night to remember! And it certainly was. We started our planning process off right, with wine slushies from the neighboring venue in August of 2020. Although we didn’t know what the world would have in store for us all, but we knew it was going to be a magical day.

Cassie and Mike tied the knot in a quirky industrial venue off the beaten path in Plainfield, IL, called Warehouse 109. Surrounded by vintage motorcycles and cars, you could tell Mike was right at home. And their florist filled the space with enough dried and dyed florals to make any woman swoon.

The ladies started the morning off with mimosas, hair, and makeup in the venue’s private bridal suit, while the gentlemen shared a few drinks back at their hotel room. Every detail of their wedding and attire was perfectly curated to be uniquely THEM.

Springs finest blooms were in full display as these two prepared to line up for their ceremony! A dear friend officiated over the ceremony as everyone either laughed, cried, or a little bit of both. And they were quickly handed an iced wine bevvy as they left their ceremony to join family and friends for a rousing reception.

Never thought I would enjoy tableside pizza service as much as I did that evening! Wooden Paddle truly outdid themselves with their full oven and a super staff of fast, attentive servers. The room was perfectly framed by their oversized monogram suspended from the head table backdrop.

There’s a ridiculously convoluted story about these two champagne glasses… but all I’ll say here is that I am so thrilled to see them both. These glasses have witnessed a LOT of Giovanni weddings, and I’m thankful they didn’t miss this one.
